We did indeed have a most enjoyable week and would love to come again one day. You have a lovely house and we enjoyed the setting very much. We appreciated having such a well stocked kitchen with quality china (rather than plain white easy to replace type found in many self catering properties) and a generous supply of mugs, glasses and bowls. We all loved the beautiful white bed linen and the beds were very comfortable. Having walked four hours in one direction along the coast and three in the other, we reached the conclusion you have the most idyllic spot in the whole area. It was truly wonderful and the sun shone. The house was beautiful and we had so many happy hours in the garden - we loved sitting round a little fire looking at the sunset and our little boy was in paradise with all that open space. We managed to avoid the unseasonal snow that hit the rest of the country which meant we could enjoy some long walks along the coastal path. We took your advice and had lovely meals in the Old Smithy, a couple of pints in the Wreckers Retreat and fish and chips in Clovelly. We had great fun on Saturday night at a Ceilidh in Welcombe and were up in time for a lovely Easter service at Stoke church. We all hope to return in the near future.
